Where Children Thrive
It is estimated that globally, 153 million children are orphaned, having lost one or both of their parents. A large portion of these children reside in Bangladesh, particularly in its remote villages — trapped in a cycle of poverty with no way out due to a lack of education and skills.
In 2024, Mercy Institute was founded with the mission of creating a safe environment for these children. Our goal is to provide them with housing, nourishment, structured education, social support, and valuable skills that prepare them for a productive future — giving each child a fair chance when opportunities arise.
While we aim to help as many orphans as possible, we are fully committed to providing quality education and training at every step. We plan to expand gradually, ensuring that every child who comes through our doors receives nothing less than our full dedication.

Mohammad Monaf brings clarity and enthusiasm to every subject he teaches. As the institute's core academic teacher, he covers Science, Mathematics, and English — building the foundation each student needs to thrive in secondary school and beyond.

Shamsul Haque serves a dual and deeply cherished role — leading the Quran memorisation and Tajweed classes with devotion, while also ensuring that every child's daily needs are met with warmth and consistency.

Facility Manager
Matab Chowdhury keeps Mercy Institute running safely and efficiently. He oversees building maintenance, logistics, and the physical environment — ensuring every classroom and dormitory is clean, safe, and ready for the children who call this place home.
