Mohammad Monaf brings clarity and enthusiasm to every subject he teaches. As the institute's core academic teacher, he covers Science, Mathematics, and English — building the academic foundation each student needs to flourish in secondary school and beyond. His patient teaching style ensures that no child is left behind, regardless of their starting point.

Responsibilities

  • Delivers Science, Mathematics, and English instruction
  • Prepares students for national board examinations
  • Tracks individual student progress and adapts lessons
  • Provides after-school tutoring support
  • Encourages critical thinking and curiosity in the classroom

Shamsul Haque serves a dual and deeply cherished role at Mercy Institute — as the institute's dedicated Quran teacher and full-time residential caretaker. He leads the Quran memorisation and Tajweed classes with devotion, while also ensuring that the children's daily needs are met with warmth and consistency. His constant presence gives every student a sense of stability they can always count on.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the Quran Hifdh memorisation program
  • Teaches Tajweed and Quranic recitation
  • Provides Islamic values and character guidance
  • Manages students' daily residential care and wellbeing
  • Ensures the institute runs smoothly day-to-day

Matab Chowdhury keeps Mercy Institute running safely and efficiently. As Facility Manager, he oversees building maintenance, logistics, and the physical environment of the institute — ensuring that every classroom, dormitory, and common area is clean, safe, and ready for the children who call this place home. His dedication behind the scenes makes everything else possible.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees daily maintenance and facility upkeep
  • Manages procurement of supplies and resources
  • Ensures health and safety standards are maintained
  • Coordinates repairs and infrastructure improvements
  • Supports event setup and operational logistics
